For ease-of-use and quick deployment, pre-assembled and tested Avatour kits are available directly from us (contact sales@avatour.live for more information). However, if you want to acquire your own hardware, here's a list of the components you'll need for a setup based on the Insta360 One RS camera (for use with compatible Android mobile devices only).
CAUTION: The One R and One RS cameras are available in several different bundles, some of which DO NOT INCLUDE the 360 lens! For Avatour use, be sure to purchase the Twin Edition or the 360 Edition. Other packages (the 4K edition or 1-inch edition) leave out the 360 lens and will NOT work with Avatour.
The Insta360 One RS comes with a GoPro-style mount and a cold-shoe adapter, but nowhere to put your phone. The minimum required accessories include the connecting cable and a phone/camera mount similar to the one listed below.

NOTE: Only transfer cables procured directly from Insta360 are compatible for Avatour usage. The Insta360 cables use a proprietary wiring connection, and a standard USB-C cable WILL NOT WORK.

Most users will require a stand and mount for the camera. A good option is the combination of a mini tripod base and an extendable selfie stick, as linked below. However, any standard 1/4"-20 mount will work. See our article on alternate mounting options for alternatives.

Start by charging your One RS fully using the included USB cable, then assemble your chosen camera accessories. For example, mount the camera on the tripod base and attach the selfie stick, ensuring all connections are tight.
Download and install the latest Avatour application from the Google Play Store or follow instructions from support. Then ensure the camera is ready to pair via the Avatour app's setup menu.

Once connected, test your setup in a controlled environment to ensure the camera streams correctly. Follow Avatour's calibration instructions to optimize your setup for the best experience.
